Daniel started his first business while still at university, going on to build one of the biggest direct marketing companies in the university sector at the time. He also continued his education, gaining post-graduate Diplomas in Marketing and Direct Marketing.

However, it was a WSET qualification taken for fun that set him on a very different path. After extensive travel, which included visiting many of the best wine regions in the US, France, Italy and New Zealand, he landed in Australia and embarked on a career in the wine industry.

Further WSET training followed, alongside wide-ranging roles including in bricks and mortar retail and fine wine broking. In 2010 he set up his own wine merchant business in Sydney, and wrote a bi-weekly wine column for Australia’s most prestigious national newspaper, The Australian.

Upon returning to the UK Daniel joined Vineyard Productions, bringing a love of wine, a wealth of business experience and an entrepreneurial streak to his role as Sales Manager for the UK. He believes hard work and honesty go a long way to doing good business, along with always keeping the end consumer in mind.
